Madgett, James W, age 69 of Heiskell, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013.. James was a member of Bishopville Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1961-1966. He is survived by his sister, Judith Madgett Ellis; brother, Donald W. Madgett and his wife Patricia; niece, Melissa; nephews, Donnie, David, Mylon and William; and several great nieces and nephews, Family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 4:30pm-7:30pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens Chapel. Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Rd., Claxton. Officiating will be Rev. Phillip Poe.
