Jamia Renee Montgomery, 45, of Heiskell, TN was blessed on Monday August 3, 2015 when the Lord called her home; she was surrounded by family at the time. She attended Raccoon Valley Church of God. She was a jokester, entertainer, and was loved by all. She was an artist and loved to work with fuzzy posters.
She is preceded in death by her father James H. Daugherty; brother -in-law Dale Bailey
She is survived by her loving mother Linda Faye Satterfield (Frank) Yarnell; children Carl, Ashley, and Daniel Montgomery; grandchildren Brianna, Hayleigh, James, and Daniel Jerome, brothers Harold Daugherty, James (Tracy) Daugherty, and Timothy Daugherty; sister Sherry Bailey; step-siblings Howard, Terry, Diane. Kenya, Kenny and Michelle.
Jamia had two things she loved to say, "Let go and let God'' and "God''s good all the time, all the time God is good."
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN, with service to follow at 8pm. Pastor Don Fox will officiate.
Graveside will be 11am, Friday, August 7, 2015 Sartin Cemetery on Mountain View Road, Heiskell, TN.
