Worth, Jane Bowers, age 83, of Powell, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Worth is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Worth; parents, Horace N and Cora Mae Bowers; eight siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Coss and husband, Paul of Powell; step-granddaughter, Michelle Renee Coss of Farragut; sister, Elizabeth Pack and husband, Lawrence of Greenville; many nieces and nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, from 5:00 to 7:30, with funeral service to follow, Rev. Perry Austin, officiating, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel.
