Moore, J. Wayne "Capt", age 75, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a 1958 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, retired from the US Navy, where he served as cook, member of the Moose Lodge. He retired from Whirlpool after 37 years of service. His hobbies included golf, fishing and collecting antiques. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie and Alton Lucas; brother, Harold Moore. He is survived by his son, Michael Moore & Brandy Lyn Bohart of Apollo Beach, FL; grandson, Austin Michael Moore; step-children, Lisa Duncan, Iris Gaylord, Paul Carr; mother of children, Charlotte Delores Moore. The family would like to extend Special Thanks to the staff and physicians of the 3rd Floor Special Care Unit of Parkwest Medical Center for their kindness and care.
