Willaims, Joanne Seward- age 75 of Claxton went to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Bonnie H. Seward of Rockwood, Tennessee. She was a devout christian, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of South Clinton Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob L. Williams and their children: Debbie and Bill Koch, Gary M. Williams, Becky and Tim Huff, Tim and Lesa Williams and Karen and Craig Herrell; brother, Roland Seward and wife Pat; grandchildren, Travis and Amy Willaims, Kala Willaims, Matthew Harmon, Stephanie Harmon, Olivia Herrell; step-grandchildren, Caroline Koch, Tyler Huff, Lee and Drew Irons, Matt, Jason and Kristen Herrell; great-grandson, Bryce Williams; Uncle Frank Henderson and wife Marge; Special cousin, Tom Ferguson and wife Debbie, several cousins, nephews, neices and their children. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 6pm til 8pm at the South Clinton Baptist Church in Clinton. Funeral Services will follow at 8pm with Dr. Roger Pugh officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Clinton Baptist Church.
