Simpson, John E, 69, of Knoxville, passed away November 15, 2013. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church and a U.S Naval Veteran. John was preceded in death by his wife Carol Simpson; parents, Albert and Evelyn Simpson and brother Charles Simpson. He is survived by his sister, Martha Mitchell and her husband Charles "Cubby"; sons, Richard Simpson and his wife Maria, Ronald Simpson and his wife Vere, and Michael Simpson; daughters, Roseann Wright and her husband Jeff and Lisa Simpson; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Monday 2:00 pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Justin Pratt officiating.
