John Lee Sweeten, age 83, of Clinton, Tn., passed away at North Knoxville Medical Center on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.  John was born on April 3, 1936, in Del Rio, Tn. Throughout his life, he worked in commercial and residential construction. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter Sweeten and Marie Dennison Sweeten, two brothers, and three sisters.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Sweeten, brothers Frank Sweeten and Robert Sweeten, sisters Doris, Shirley, Betty Faye, and Gaynell.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 2:00 PM in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Roger Pugh will be officiating.
