Taylor, John L. (J.L.), age 72,born September 3, 1942. J.L. loved UT Football and enjoyed reading, watching westerns, playing cards and laughing with family and friends. He was called home October 31, 2014.

He was surrounded by family while greeted by his father Arvil Taylor, mother Lannie Taylor Phillips, sister Abbie Phillips and brother-in-law James Woods. He and will be missed by his wife Donna Woods Taylor of Claxton; son Terry John Taylor and wife Tressa of Clinton; daughter Tamara Lynn Taylor Cooper and husband H.E. of Campbell County; grandsons Joshua John Taylor of Richmond, KY, Terry Scott Taylor of Clinton, Joseph Walton Walker of Seattle, WA, Anthony Dawson Hubbard of Campbell County, great grandchildren; Elijah John Taylor of Richmond, KY, Kia Joshlynn Walker and Kelsey Berel Walker both of Seattle, Wa; brothers Arvi l"JR" and wife Reba of Campbell county, Roger Taylor of Frost Bottom, Tim Phillips of Frost Bottomand sister Reba Phillips Smith of Frost Bottom; sisters-in-law and brothers-n-law Linda and Allen Presley of Riceville, TN, Deloris and Elmer Presley of Sweetwater, TN and Thurman, Darlene Woods of Jasper, TN and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during JL''s last few months of his health struggle. Receiving of friends will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with funeral service to follow at 8:00pm officiated by Rev. Alan Presley.
