Joseph Alvin Keathley , 91, of Oak Ridge, TN passed away at his home with his family on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Joe was born in Helena, Arkansas on October 24, 1929 to his parents, Joseph Alvin Keathley & Nina Sinkey Keathley.  He graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1947 and served his county in the US Navy.  Joe worked in computer maintenance and retired from ORNL.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed being on the lake and boating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Nina Keathley; and his sister, Geraldine Wakefield.  Joe is survived by his wife, of 73 years, Charlotte Jernigan Keathley; his daughter, Charlotte(Newton) Molloy; his son, Terry (Becca) Keathley; five grandchildren, Megan Molloy, Austin (Carrissa) Keathley, Hannah Keathley, Lauren (Phil) Miller, and Megan McKinney; three great-grandchildren, Haiden Keathley, Stella Miller, and Cohen Miller; and his nieces & nephews.  The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice and Tracy and Abby of Senior Solutions for their loving and supportive care of Joe and his family

A Graveside Service will be held at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial GardensMonday, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849, on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00am with Military Honors.
