Katherine Lynne Smith , 65, went to Heaven to be with her parents, Alfred & Kathleen, and her beloved dog, Ginger, on Monday, June 27, 2022 following a stroke.  Katherine was born on Thursday, October 4, 1956 and was a graduate of Tennessee School for the Deaf in Knoxville.  She was a world traveler, frequent Bunco winner, avid bowler, intense University of Tennessee all sports fan, animal lover, and a fast car enthusiast.  She had an infectious smile and a personality that was always her best!  Katherine has left many life long friends to cherish her memory and a dedicated niece, Kati, which she often referred to as "my baby".  An overdue graveside service will be conducted at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 4 PM by DR. Jerry Seale, in the Garden of Everlasting Life.  My aunt loved fiercely and truly cherished those she met throughout her life.  My beautiful Aunt Kathy, I will forever miss you.
