Kathleen Williams, 89, of the Pond Gap Area of Knoxville, TN, passed Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Home surrounded by her loving family. She was of the Baptist faith. Kathleen loved to cook, dance, play B-I-N-G-O, and solve crossword puzzles. As one of her children described her, "she loved to cut a rug". She loved poetry, especially if it had great meaning.
Kathleen was the proud mother and Mama of her 11 children, JR, Eugene, Phineas, Larry, Ricky, Janie, Alvin, Tina, Sue, Pam, and Connie; 23 grandchildren, Tim, DeWayne, Cari, Edie, Jason, Regina, Phineas Jr., Holly, Larry Jr., Darrell, Katrina, Rick Jr., Eric, Bridgette, Shannon, Christina, Jessica, Jennifer, Cody, Jason, Victoria, Alexus, and Brian; and 32 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11am - 1pm with a Funeral Service at 1pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849. Interment will follow immediately after the Funeral Service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
