Kyle Capps 89 of Powell, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Kyle retired from KUB after 28 years of service. He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Knoxville. His love was hunting and fishing, but most of all was his love for his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lon and Myrtle Capps, brothers; Frank Capps, Scott Capps, and Bud Capps, sisters; Elsie Robertson, Cleo Capps.
Kyle is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; Judy Capps, daughter Lisa (Chris) Thomison, grandchildren; Liryn and Hayden Thomison.
Family will receive friends Monday March 2, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:30pm with a service to follow with Pastor Sam Ensor officiating.
