Stearns, Larry B., age 69, of Powell, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center, St. Mary''s, Knoxville. He was of the Mormon Faith. He loved hunting with is hunting buddies and the outdoors. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Byron W and Dena Stearns; brother, Kirk Stearns; father-in-law, Gene Riseden. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Wilma Riseden Stearns; son, Richard and wife Nora; daughter, Dena and David; special grandchildren, Britney, James, Sydney and Seth; brother, John and wife Serena; mother-in-law, Theda Riseden; sister-in-law, Shirley; brother-in-law, Carl and Tana; several nieces and nephews and many friends; special neighbors, Teddy and Robert Metcalf. Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, from 11-1 at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services following at 2pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Pastor Louie Branch, officiating.
