Mee, Lawanda Marie (Bunny), age 67, passed away September 4, 2011, after a 20 year struggle with Alzheimer''s. Accomplished musician (drums, electric base guitar, & upright bass fiddle), a wonderful mother and wife. Preceded in death by mother, Lawanda Marie Tyree; father, Warren Bertram Tyree. Survived by husband, James Clifford Mee; daughter, Sheri Denise Mee; son, Christopher Tyree Mee; granddaughter, Anna Marie Mee; brother, Warren Mitchell Tyree & wife Ann; cousins, Denny & Don Tyree, Judy Todd; sister-in-law, Kay Maier of Oak Ridge; caregiver, Gaya Cannon of Knoxville. Graveside service for Mrs. Mee will be held Friday, September 16, 2011, at 11:30 am at the new East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Highway, Knoxville.
