Simpson, Ovella "Inky", age 83 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the home of her daughter following a long illness. She was a lifetime member of Solway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E Simpson; parents, Alce & Cora Irene Rymer. Survivors include her son, Jim Simpson & wife, Polly; daughter, Linda Williams & Freddie Sakhleh; grandchildren, Robin Castleberry, Renee Patty, April Bilek, Julie Toole; great-grandchildren. Adam Castleberry, Evan Castleberry, Nathan Hutton, Whitney Bilek, Janelise Alexander, Keenan Toole; 1 great-great-grandchild, Emma Grace Alexander. The family will receive friends Thursday, October, 31, 2013, from 12:00 to 1:30 at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service following with Rev. Rob Buchanan, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solway Baptist Church.
