Linda Arlene Hounchell, 71, of Knoxville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 surround by her family.  Linda's nickname was Cub.  Cub was born in Corbin, KY to Earl & Juanita Hounchell on Saturday,September 09, 1950.  She worked at the United States Post Office as a Marketing Director for 20 plus years.  Cub loved to volunteer and help with anything to do with children organization.  She was member Church of God on East Wolfe Valley Road, in Heiskell, TN. She loved her family dearly and they were her world.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Juanita Hounchell; he son Chad Hounchell, Mother-in-Law, Pat Rogers; her sisters, Brenda Ison and Glenda Hounchell; and her brother Roy Gregory;

Cub is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, Carrroll Rogers; her nieces Jessica Ison and Mindy Fleenor; her nephews Matt Hounchell, Scott Gregory, and Raymond Gregory; her bonus daughter, Amanda Fonshill and her husband Brian; her grandchildren Carlee Waddell, Kaden Ison, Wyatt Fonshill, Amaya Ison, Autumn Fonshill;  Anthony, Ahmader, Anyae, Cantrell, Alexianna and Brooklyn; her sister Margie Blankenship; sister –in-law Sandy Gregory; special friends, Daphne Oxendine, Tammy Johnson, and Savannah Justice; plus a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Woodland Church of God on South Webster Street in Kokomo, Indiana (46902) .

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Linda's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
