Linda Faye Satterfield Yarnell left this earth for her heavenly home on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Born on December 26, 1943, she was a devout Christian who spent her life devoted to her Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. She grew up in Mascot, Tennessee, eventually moving to Knoxville.
She resided in Buford, Georgia for a period and was employed as a kitchen manager for the
Buford City School System and later for the Gwinnett County School System.
She was preceded in death by her dear daughter, Jamia Daugherty Montgomery, father Robert
Satterfield, mother Elsie Satterfield, sisters Mary Romines, Anne Harrell, and Carolyn
Satterfield, as well as her brothers Bill Satterfield, Jimmy Satterfield, and Bob Satterfield.
She is survived by her devoted husband Howard F. Yarnell, her children Harold Daugherty,
Timothy Daugherty, Sherry Bailey, and James Daugherty, along with 13 grandchildren and 20
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Adkins and her brothers Ricky
and Terry Satterfield. She also has many stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great
grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held the morning of Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, at
Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens beginning at 9am. The funeral service will
immediately follow at 10:30am with a graveside interment at 11:00 am.
