Gilley, Mable H., age 90, of Mosherville, MI, formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008. She was born June 5, 1917, in Carthage, TN, to the late Lethie & Savage Pruitt. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and friends and really enjoyed the outdoors. She was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Gilley, Sr.; four sisters and two brothers, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Survivors include; daughters, Betty & husband Robert Wagner, Linda Law of Mosherville, MI; sons, John, Jr., and wife Kahra Gilley of Oak Ridge, TN, Sam and Velda Williams of Knoxville, TN, Donald Gilley of Crossville, TN; sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; brother, L.B. and wife Sarah Pruitt of Murfreesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 19, from 6-8pm with funeral services to follow at 8pm in the Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Cox, officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 20, at 11am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
