Marissa Nichol McCormick 35 of Knoxville, Passed away June 6, 2026. She was born July 8, 1990, she lived a life full of compassion, selflessness and left an impact on her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Joe and Stella McCormick, Gene Giles.

Marrisa is survived by her Daughter: Avery McCormick, Parents; Danny (Teona) McCormick, Tawana (Jon) Byron, Sister; Danielle (Alex) Foster, Grandmother; Charmaine Giles and Nephew; Henley Foster. Also, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm with funeral service to follow at Woodhaven Funeral Home Located at 160 Edgemoor Rd. in Powell.

A graveside service to be held 2:00pm on Thursday June 18, 2026 at Woodhaven Memorial Cemetery.
