Marlena "Marty" Smith entered eternal rest on November 15, 2024, surrounded by love and cherished memories. She has been joyfully reunited in Heaven with her much-missed Papaw, Mammaw, mother, and her recently departed dog, Jake.

Marty was a caregiver by both profession and nature. Her life's mission was to care for others, a calling she fulfilled with grace, selflessness, and devotion. Through her love, kindness, and unwavering generosity, Marty left a profound impact on countless lives. While her earthly journey has concluded, her Heavenly journey has just begun, as she now rejoices in the presence of the Lord and her loved ones.

Marty is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Justin Smith; her cherished children, Darren Smith and Madison Smith; her siblings, Mikal Cruzen (Paul), Tony Stephens (Casey), and Crystal Butler (Allen); her mother-in-law, Sandy Talbott Smith; her sister-in-law, Laura Smith; and her beloved dog, Leo. She was also a proud "Mimi" to her nieces and nephews, who brought her boundless joy.

Marty's warmth, compassion, and steadfast faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she is deeply missed, her legacy of love and the light she shared will endure eternally.
