Martha S. Boulton 77 of Powell, went to be with her heavenly father on January 8, 2025. Martie, as she was known, loved music, having played bass in ballroom and jazz bands. Marty also spent 31 and a half years as a band director for Knox County and surrounding counties schools. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Lillian Scarbro. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Nigel Boulton. Family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Powell on January 20, 2025. from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. An internment service will be held January 21, 2025.  2:00pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 160 Edgemoor Rd. in Powell.
