Mary Jane Griffith, age 79, a lifelong resident of the Oak Ridge and Claxton community, passed away
February 14, 2025 at her last residence, Signature HealthCare of Rockwood.
Jane was a client at Emory Valley in Oak Ridge for most of her life, where she enjoyed many years
working at the on-site shop with her friends.
Jane loved babies, children, and anything Mickey Mouse. She had a giving heart, and loved to share her
colorings, puzzles, or whatever craft project she was working on.
She was preceded in death by her parents Viola and Jack Griffith, brothers Robert "Bob" Griffith. Billie
"Bill" Griffith, Ralph "Butch" Griffith, Sisters, Marie Edwards, and Mildred "Ann" Davis.
Jane is survived by her loving sister Judy Daniels of Rockwood, Brother Richard "Ricky" Griffith of
Georgia, and brother-in-law Don Davis of Clinton, many nieces, nephews, and loving family, friends, care
givers, and special care giver Brenda Keene.
The family would like to thank SignatureHealth Care of Rockwood for the loving care provided the last 2
years.
Graveside services will be officiated by special friend Pastor Garvin Walls on Tuesday 2/18/25, 2:00 pm
at Woodhaven Funeral Home, Powell TN.
