York, Mary Jane, age 61, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed beyond measure. She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto Perry Sands and Virginia "Dude" Webber Sands; brothers, J.C., Paul and Henry Sands. Survivors include husband of 42 years, Stanley York; sons, Tommy, Rick and Ralph Owens; daughters, Theresa Brewster, Vera Carey, Cindy Sands and Tammie York; 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Sands; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday, October 15, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8pm with Rev. Tim Ambrose, officiating. The family will gather at 9:45am Saturday, October 16 at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for a 10:00 burial. Pallbearers are: C.R.
