Michael Eugene Burcham, 60, of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at home surrounded by family. Mike suffered 9 months with a very aggressive cancer. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Solway Baptist Church. He retired from Rental Uniform Company after 23 years. Mike was a jack of all trades and could do anything he set his mind to. He loved to sing but racing was his biggest hobby.
Mike left behind his wife and best friend of 36 years, Sheree Burcham, to begin his eternal life in Heaven. Mike''s family was his greatest pride and never ending source of happiness.
Now to be sorely missed, but never forgotten, his sweet smile, gentle eyes, his gracious hospitality, his loving spirit, and kindness towards all have left an abiding influence on his family and friends. His death creates a void in the lives of all those who knew Mike.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Andrew Burcham; his brother Steven Eugene Burcham; and grandparents, Homer Leaton & Selma Audie Burcham, along with David & Evelyn Sparrey.
He is survived by his wife Sheree Burcham; his daughter Heather (Scott) Blair; his beloved grandchildren Brandon, Chandler, and Abby; his four-legged daughter Lena Lu; his mother Jean Beam; his 2nd Mom & Dad, Barbara & Bobaka Mimi & Pops; his son Michael Andrew Burcham; his sister, Patty (John) Sisk and niece Summer (Michael) O''Neil, her children, Griffen, Anderson, and Collier; his sister Sherry (Lynn) Hedrick, and his nephew Aaron and niece Meghan; his nephew Chad (Alisha) Burcham; his brother-in-law Kim (Sheila) Walker and their daughter Leslie (Brian) Weigel and their children Hunter and Addison; 2nd daughter Kristen (Dustin) Vincent and their children Owen and Jude; brother-in-law Scott (Becky) Walker and their son Josh; brother-in-law Todd Walker; Aunt Judy and Aunt Joan and their children and grandchildren.
Receiving of Friends will be held from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 with a Celebration of Life Service to start at 7:00pm at Solway Baptist Church. The graveside service with be at 11:00am Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
