Purciful, Michael L., age 59, of Farragut, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was of the Presbyterian faith and a Veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Purciful; sister, Cindy. Michael is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sandy Purciful; sons, Michael E. and Christopher A. Purciful; mother, Nancy Purciful; brothers, Steve and Jackie Purciful. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday, May 16, 2011, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private. The family would like to give special thanks to Parkwest Medical Center staff for their care of Michael. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
