Michael Trent Shelton, 18, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 surrounded by family. A Knox County native, Michael was born to Angel & Michael Eric.  He was a senior at Clinton High School. Michael enjoyed welding and loved to walk and be in nature. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  Michael was active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, were his Big Brother was Tony Bowers.   He is preceded in death by his mother, Angel Marie Shelton; and his paternal grandmother, Cathy Cridge.

Left to honor Michael's memory is his father, Michael Eric Russell; two brothers Austin & Brandon; his grandparents, Sandy & Roger Woods and Trent Russell; his Aunt Misti Bolden; his special cousin and her son, Makayla Copley and Mason; cousins Jayden Riley, Matthew, Jeremy, Daniel, Justin and Teresa Kay; plus several aunt s, uncles and host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road in Powell, where Melvin Myers will officiate.  Covid-19 rules and regulations will be applied.  The family will meet at Bell Campground Cemetery at 2:30 PM for the interment.
