Cross, Mildred Helton, age, 86 of Powell, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was a member of Valley View Methodist Church of Clinton. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Cross; parents, Oscar & Maggie Helton; sisters, Edith Gavagan, Nancy Helton, Callie Smith, Dorothy Taylor; brother, Edward Helton. She is survived by her daughter, Angela A. Norris of Norman, OK; grandson, Brian Norris; sisters, Betty L. Gibens, Montez Helton; special friends, Phyllis Harrington and Steve Smith; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 24, from 12 noon to 1:00 pm with a funeral service following at 1:00pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paige Wimberly, officiating.
