Mildred Jean Hall Sparks, 86, of Powell, TN passed away in the loving arms and hearts of her family on the morning of Saturday August 15, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, Nanny, neighbor and friend. Her kindness, generosity, and independence will forever be a great example for her family. She was a wonderful cook, having won blue ribbons at various state fairs for her strawberry preserves. She loved George Strait''s music.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charlie Sparks; her parents Eva & Newton Hall; sisters Beulah Mae "Blondie", and Betty Lou.
Jean is survived by her son Michael (Sandra) Sparks; daughters Kim (Keith) Napier, and Sally (Bob) Pedigo; grandchildren Misty (Derek) Doucet, Eric and Cody Napier; her brother Jesse Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Steve Peek will officiate the Graveside service which will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens; 160 Edgemoor Rd Powell, TN 37849.
