Carnes, Mona Moneymaker, 82, of Clinton, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012. Daughter of the late Sherman and Bertha Lacey Moneymaker, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray Carnes; daughters, Karen Carnes, Amelia Carnes and Elizabeth Jane Kanipe and her husband Doug, and grandsons Alex and Max Kanipe. She was an accomplished pianist, secretary and seamstress and loved church, family, music and sports. Family will receive friends Saturday, October 13, 2012 at South Clinton Baptist Church from 11:00am-12:00pm with a 12:00pm service. Officiating will be Rev. Roger Pugh.
