PATRICK WAYNE WILLIAMS, SR (Pat), age 77, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, 5:15 a.m. at West Hills Health and Rehab Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born in Huntsville, Texas on December 27, 1946, the son of Ernest and Florence Williams. Pat met his wife Ann (Leavings) while at North Shore High School, and they married in 1964.

He was a graduate of North Shore High School, class of 1965, and a long-time resident of Galena Park, Texas as well as a resident of Knoxville, TN. Patrick was a hard-working steel press operator who also worked in shipping and receiving.  Pat served his community as a police officer, a volunteer fireman, and as a local humane officer. He loved animals and nature. Patrick loved the Lord and found comfort studying his Bible.

Pat is preceded in death by his wife Ann Williams; his parents, Ernest and Florence Williams; siblings, Ernestine Neal, Ernest Williams Jr, and Billy Frank Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Emert and son Patrick Williams Jr (Heather); His grandson, Jerry Emert (Ashli), His granddaughters, Ashley Simmons (Tyler), Kaycee Williams, and Mich Williams; six great grandchildren; by his favorite niece, Patricia Neal, and by many cousins and lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the chapel at Woodhaven Funeral Home.

A committal service will immediately follow at Woodhaven's Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Everlasting Life.
