Paul David Hoose, age 64, of Knoxville, TN., passed away Monday, July 27, 2020.  Mr. Hoose was born on October 9, 1955, and was the son of the late Alan and Virginia Hoose. He worked at the UT Physical Plant and was an honorary member of the Knoxville FOP.  Mr. Hoose participated in barbeque competitions all over the county, and was a member of the Kansas City Barbeque Society. He belonged to a barbeque team named The Cookin' Possum's and was also a judge for several steak and barbeque competitions. He was a family oriented man who loved attending family functions. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Lou Hoose.

He is survived by his brothers Michael (Glenda) Hoose, Chris D. (Lois) Hoose, a sister Malinda (Rick) Soucy, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. Paul was loved by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 1, 2020, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Woodhaven Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
