Bowne, Peggy Lorene, age 74, born September 26, 1938, left her earthly home and took residence in her heavenly mansion on July 22, 2013, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by parents, Charlie & Sara Herrell, son, Mark Allen Bowne. She leaves her loving husband of 55 years, Rev. Edwy Bowne; son, Kevin Edward Bowne; daughter, Deborah Ann Whitson; grandchildren, Joshua and Christina Whitson; sister, Norma Devall; brothers, Ken and wife Linda Herrell, Phillip and wife Jackie Herrell. Peggy was a member of Bishopville Baptist Church and the Body of Christ. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, from 5-7 pm with a 7:00pm Celebration of Life Service following at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Herrell and Rev. Charles Herrell, officiating. In lieu of flowers, make donations to The Gideon for a Bible placed in her name.
