RD Davis, age 86, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 3, 2023. RD was a loving and
devoted husband, father, grandfather, and especially great-grandfather. He was a member of Sharon
Baptist Church for many years and loved his church family dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents Randolph and Rosa Davis; wife Joy I Davis and son Ronald D.
Davis. RD is survived by his daughter Deborah Clevenger; grandchildren Aubrey (Richard) Burger,
Matthew (Mary) Clevenger; great-grandchildren Landan Wells, Spencer Burger, Madison Clevenger,
Bryson Clevenger, Seth Hill, Audreanna Hill and Ashlee Hill; sister-in-law Mary E Daugherty; special
friends Finna Sherritze, Gordon and Norma Carringer; many loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 12:00-1:00pm, with funeral service at 1:00pm at Sharon Baptist Church, (7916 Pedigo Road, Knoxville, TN 37938) with Pastor Dr. James Robertson and Pastor Mark Mccoig officiating.

The graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund at Sharon Baptist Church.
