Cooper, Rebecca Maner, age 95, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 10, 201, at Mercy Residential Hospice. Rebecca was born in Knox County, Tennessee, where she graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1937. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Heiskell. Preceded in death by husband, Dutch Cooper. Rebecca is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sheila Cooper; daughter and son-in-law, Lyn and Richard Sarli, daughter, Emily Cooper Hatfield; grandsons, Stephen Dutch and William Max Cooper; sisters, Oga Maner Williams, Dorothy Maner Marshall and husband, Jack; many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Rebecca taught 3rd grade at Crossville Elementary School for many years. After retiring, she volunteered in the gift shop at East Tennessee Children''s Hospital for over 30 years where she was named volunteer of the year in 2007. A memorial service will be held later.
