Richards, Robert William, age 70, of Powell, passed away October 5, 2011, at his home. He was a member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert W. Richards Jr. He was the beloved husband and father of wife, Shirley; children, James Richards and wife Amy, Robert E. Richards and partner in life, Herbert Isaminger, Kathy Carver and husband, Ernest Carver, III; grandchildren, Taylor Richards, Jordan Greene, Kristian & Dylan Tapp, Lela Carver; sisters, Helen McMinnm, Peggy Johnson; brother-in law, David J Brown and wife Judy; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Burchfield, Frances Kelley & husband Jackie, Margo Sandford; several special nieces and nephews, Karen & Bobby Smith, Jerry & Karen Johnson, Rick & Jenifer Johnson, Gary & Paula McMinn, Becky & Brett Jackson, Deborah & Neil Conrad, James & Shirley Kelley, Robert Kelley, Karen & Jim Eckard, Colt, Tabitha, Kathy, Brett, Brittany, Jessica, Terry Diehl, Lee & Debra Diehl, David Richards, David Brown, II, Melissa & Earl. The family will receive friends Friday, October 7, from 6-8 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with services at 8pm here at Woodhaven. Bro. Jordan Amburn will officiate.
