RODNEY LYNN HIPSHER, Sr. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Powell, TN.  He was 66.  He Born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 27, 1955, to parents JD and Merry Sue (Steele) Hipsher, Rodney is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Donna Warden and Jeff Hipsher.

A loving husband to Tresea and hard-working father and hero to Rodney and Rachel, Rodney Sr. simply adored his family.   Whether it was the every day home improvement project, watching movies, nature walks or beach vacations, Rodney was dedicated to his family.  Many happy memories were made – and will be shared for generations.

Rodney is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Tresea (Cox), son Rodney; daughter Rachel Tackett (Dakota), Grandson, Maximus Cade Tackett, sisters Debbie Stiles, Darleen Robinson (Eddie), and brother Todd Hipsher, and sister-in-law Narda.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 5-7pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.  160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
