Ruby Marie Ferguson, 80, a native of Knoxville, TN, went home to the Lord Monday November 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family very much. Ruby for a number of years worked in the automotive industry and as a cook in the Claxton schools, before retiring to become a housewife. She loved to quilt and was especially fond of her sweet great-granddaughter, Natalie Rose Ferguson. It was hard on Ruby when Natalie Rose moved away two years ago. She was a very loving, kind and honest lady that treated everyone the same.
With her passing Ruby will be reunited with her husband William "Bill" Ferguson, her parents Elick and Elizabeth Davis; her brothers Fred and Jackie; and her sister Imogene.
Ruby left behind her children Debbie Boone and Curtis Ferguson, of Knoxville; her grandson Jason Ferguson; a sister, Cora Chamberlain; her brother-in-law Leon and wife Joanne Ferguson; and her best friend Joyce Williams.
