Obituary

Davis, Ruby L. Stewart, 91, of Knoxville, passed away with her daughters by her side. She was a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was the director of Girls in Action. Ruby loved to quilt and cook. Her specialty was making stack cake, jellies and hot tamales. She was a loving mother, grandmother and would always be the first to reach out and care for others. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ernest C, Stewart; and brother, Bob McNabb. She is survived by her daughters, Janice K. Ford of Knoxville and Jane E. White and husband Thomas of Columbia, TN.; grandchildren, Ray White, Elizabeth Raborn and husband Derrick, Jeannie Giannaris and husband Bill, Bonnie Taub and husband Adam; great grandchildren, Levi Bratton, Justin White, Alex, Rachel & Laura Giannaris, Caleb & Devin Taub; dear friend Kim Sproles and family. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, 11:00am - 1:00pm with a 1:00pm service at Ball Camp Baptist Church in the Karns Community with Rev.Ed Sunday Winters officiating.
