Adams, Sangad "Sam", age 58, of Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Methodist Medical Center. Sangad was a native of Thailand, met her husband, Gary in 1968 as he served in the military. They married in 1970, and then moved to the United States; a loving wife and mother of 40 years; she fulfilled a life-long dream of owning her own restaurant, Sam''s Thai Kitchen in Harriman. Sangad is preceded in death by her infant son, Jon-Thee Adams; parents, Sung Wan & Pliel Tippasert; mother-in-law, Marie Lunsford; brother-in-law, James Adams. She is survived by her husband, Gary Lester Adams; daughter, Nancy Nadara Albanese and husband Michael Shayne Albanese of Knoxville; grandson, Sean Michael Albanese; granddaughter, Adrienne Nicole Albanese; brother, Sangune Tippasert of Thailand; sister, Sangope Tippasert of Thailand; father-in-law, Charles "Monk" Lunsford; in-laws, Annis Adams, Jerry Lee Adams and wife Roberta, Charles Lunsford and wife Pit, Lawrence Lunsford and wife Stacie, Cherie Lunsford Benge and husband Bob. The family will receive friends Friday, October 2, from 6 - 8 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 11:00 am with Rev.
