Scott Gallaher, 53, passed away at his home on July 12, 2026.

Scottie was born to Mattie and Eugene Gallaher on December 12, 1972, in Oak Ridge, TN.

Scottie attended The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC). He pledged with Omega PSI PHI in 1993 (The Final Four. He graduated from UTC in 1997 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked at CNS (Y-12) in Oak Fidge He was a member of the Gadson Chapel Mason Lodge 33, Prisce Hall.

Scottie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved his children and enjoyed

watching his younger children play sports. Scottie enjoyed riding motorcycles and listening to all different types of music.

Scottie had so much love to give. He was a mentor to his family and friends. He was the life of

the party and others always gravitated towards his infectious energy. This was Scottie's world and we were just living in it!

Scottie was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Gallaher and brother Jason Gallaher.

Scottie leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mattie Gallater, brother, Mone Thomas;

fiancé, Alicia Pence; children, Shayla Reeves, Tyler Gallaher, Tiahna Gallaher, Kyleigh Gallaher and Xavier Gallaher; sister-in-law, Tamara Hayden; aunts, Wanda Myers, Sue Jones, Kathy Myers, Willie Butler, Wilma Ursery, Lois Sharp, Georgia Reed and host of nieces and nephews and cousins. 

 Family will receive friends Wednesday July 15, 2026 from 12:00pn to 1:30pm with a 2:00pm graveside service at Wood haven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens located at 160 Edgemoor Rd. in Powell.
