Collette, Shirley Mae, age 69, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and avid lover of the outdoors. She loved her hummingbirds. "Buried on Earth to Bloom in Heaven." Preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Alice Roach Currier; daughter, Marlyn; grandson, Garret; sister, Ruth Fowler. Shirley is survived by her devoted husband, James E Collette; children, Warren & Crystal Collette of Knoxville,Amanda Hurst of Knoxville, Dale Waller of Michigan, Darrell & Beth Waller, Jimmy & Lynn Burrnett of North Carolina, Tammy Boshears, Joy Grady, Connie & Armando Rodriquez of Texas, Cindy Gainey of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren & 1 special grandchild, Jamee (Mae) Collette; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Currier of Texas; half-brother, Charles Currier of Clinton.
