Johnson Sr., Steve Glenn age 64, has lost his battle with congestive heart disease and lung disease. Steve has gone to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 6:19am. Steve is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Elsie Johnson of Knoxville, and son Steve Glenn Johnson Jr. of Hampton, Va. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Brenda (Susie) Johnson; son Chadwick E. Schubert; daughter Brandie R Schubert; brother Randell Johnson; sister Brenda Pursiful. Steve had four wonderful grandchildren Dylan Schubert, Justin Rivers, Taylor Schubert and Madison Schubert which were the love of his life; special cousin Myra Brooks and special aunt Pauline Johnson. He was a life long construction worker, a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved deeply and will be missed by everyone left behind. He will never be forgotten and will always be thought of. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 29, from 11:00am-12:30pm with service to follow at 12:30pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849. Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery,4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville. Woodhaven Funeral Home is honored to serve the Johnson family.
