Tommy E. Edmonds , 85, of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Tommy was a car enthusiast and loved to dance. He had a strong work ethic and expected the same from others. The word lazy was not in his vocabulary.  He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Martin Marietta in Oak Ridge.  Tommy loved his family, was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Rhoda Edmonds; and two brothers, Franklin D. Edmonds and William Harvey Edmonds.  Tommy is survived by Betty Edmonds France; his sons Tommy (Leaann) Edmonds and Greg (Denise) Edmonds; daughter Beverly Edmonds; Grandchildren, Brandon (Mindi) Edmonds, Tyler Edmonds, and Ashley O'Dell; two great-grandchildren, Maliyah and Brayzon; his brothers, Wayne Edmonds and J.P. Edmonds; sisters, Mary Phillips, Elizabeth Gibson, and Rosalee Edmonds; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and many friends.

Visitation for friends will be held at Woodhaven Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022.  A Funeral Service will follow at 7pm where Scott Turner will lead.  The Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 28 ^th at 11AM in the Chapel Garden at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
