Velma Lee Long was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed on into Glory on August 19,2024 at the age of 85 to be with her late husband Steve Long.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and working in her gardens. She left behind many friends and family, whom she loved dearly, including her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, and siblings.
A memorial service is scheduled for September 8, 2024. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm, with a service to follow at Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 160 Edgemoor Rd. in Powell.
