Miley, Viola Robinson, age 82 of Powell, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at her home. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Powell and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.A. Miley, her parents, George and Lyda Moore Baker, Daughter, Ruth Elliott, sons, Jerry Mixon and Bart McCoy. Sisters, Juanita Haynes, Wanda Holmes, Pearl Babbs and Johnnie Brakebill. She is survived by son, Kenneth Elliott of Knoxville. Daughters, Tonda McCoy of Knoxville, Cordelia Dills of Knoxville and Conjohna Mixon of Russelville Ala. 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. One sister, Laura Earls of Morristown. A very special friend, Danny Welch, several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5pm til 7pm on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Woodhaven Funeral Home in Claxton with funeral services at 7pm. Bro. Gary Day will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted at 2pm on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Bishopville Cemetery in Powell. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 1:45pm.
