Walter Glen Tindle, Sr. , of Wartburg, TN passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.  He passed away peacefully with his children by his side.   Walter Glen was born February 24, 1953 in Oliver Springs, TN to Joyce Blalock, of Oliver Springs, and Walt Tindle of Athens .  He was loved by many and was a father to many of his nieces, nephews, and friends of his children.  Glen has one of the biggest hearts; he would help anyone that he could.   He had so much love for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and thought the world of them.  Glen often bragged about his children and how proud he was of them to anyone, including strangers.  He had a different relationship with each one of them, but loved them all the same.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Joyce & Walt, four brothers, Ricky, William "Tuff", Clarence "Ponch" and Darryl "Gidge"; and for sisters, Helen, Cheryl, Linda, and Vicki.

Glen is survived by his four daughters, Patricia "Trish" (Shawn), Angela, Carolyn  "Tiny", Rosalie and Phrona; two sons, Walter (Heather) and Aaron Lacey (Tindle); four grandchildren, Angelica, Alyssa, Abby, and Issabella; three grandsons, Nathaniel, Trevor, and Jordan ; two great-granddaughters; four sisters, Linda (R.J.), Sheila, Glada, Anita "Squeak"; three brothers, David (Tammy), Walt, and Sam (Caren); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.   Walter is also survived by his faithfull dog, Poppi.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 11:00AM -12:30PM followed by a funeral service at 12:30PM.   The interment will be held in the Chapel Garden at 1:30PM.  All services will be at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849.
