Cagley, Wayne, age 54, of Powell, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. Wayne was a member of the Claxton Church of God and was employed as a Diesel Mechanic with Phillips & Jordan of Knoxville for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman.loved fishing and gardening and especially loved his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Jones Cagley; granddaughter, Lilly Grace Whitaker. Wayne is survived by his loving wife and companion of 24 years, Gloria Whitaker Cagley; step-son, Charles Whitaker; daughter, Ruby Nichole Whitaker; grandson, Case Jameson Whitaker; brothers, Felbert "Lynn" Cagley of Georgia, Austin Earl Cagley of Clinton; uncle, Jack Cagley; aunts, Grace & Idie Cagley, Irene Wallace & husband Ken. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday, May 7, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service to follow with Rev. Jerry Castle and Rev. Charlie Young, officiating.
