Willa Dean Smith, 77, of Powell, TN went to be with Lord Sunday, February 21, 2016. She was a graduate of Rule High School, Class of ''56. Willa Dean, better known as "Porky" by her friends, was an active member and worked at the Knoxville Moose Lodge, #1560, for over 24 years. Porky loved the Tennessee Volunteers and never missed a game. A former longtime member of West Lonsdale Baptist, Porky recently felt the spirit to joined Dante Church of God.
She is survived her son, Tony Smith; several cousins; and a host of friends including her two best friends, Larry and Geraldine.
Visitation will be on Thursday February 25, 2016 from 11:00am - 12:00pm with Service at 12:00pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849. Interment will follow the Service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens; Pastor David Snyder will officiate.
