McCoy, William "Bill" Joseph, age 59, of Powell, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008, at St. Mary''s North. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Powell and a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a retired corporate attorney with Driller Service, Inc. He loved fishing and enjoyed his "fish pond". Preceded in death by his infant son, Sean Patrick; parents, Exen and Virginia Miller. Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Deborah; his beloved daughter, Melissa and husband, Robert Manges of Knoxville; the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Caleb William & Elizabeth Hope Manges; mother and father-in-law, Earl and Wanda Neathawk; special friend and aunt, Sis; his best 4-legged friend, "Savannah"; his best buddies, Jake & Max; brothers, Freddie, Jackie and David Miller, all of Knoxville; sister, Donna Black of Powell. The McCoy family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2008, with funeral service following at 8pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Phil Jones, officiating. Family and Friends will gather at 10:45 am Wednesday, December 3, 2008, for an 11:00 am interment at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
