William Roger Cardwell, Sr., age 85, of Knoxville, Tn., passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was the son of the late Auther William Cardwell and Etta Western Cardwell.  In earlier years, he was a mail carrier for the Oak Ridge Post Office. Mr. Cardwell enjoyed farming and construction.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Emily Ann  Knox Cardwell, a brother Auther William Cardwell, and sister Mary Ruth Cardwell Davis.

He is survived by his sons Lee Auther Cardwell and William Roger Cardwell, Jr., daughter in law Nancy Lynn Cardwell, two grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
